Sir Richard Sykes is the company’s non-executive chairman and was Glaxo Wellcome plc’s chairman in 1997. He is the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine’s Rector.
Sir Roger Hurn is GSK’s non-executive deputy chairman and was a Glaxo Wellcome plc non-executive director. He is also chairman of the Court of Governors of the Henley Management Centre.

Donald McHenry is a professor for Georgetown University School of Foreign Service’s Practice of Diplomacy. He is currently a non-executive director of GSK, Coca-Cola Company, and AT&T Corporation.
Sir Ian Prosser is a GSK non-executive director and a World Travel and Tourism Council member. He used to be a SmithKline Beecham plc non-executive director.
