General Electric (GE) is a multi-national American technology services conglomerate incorporated located in the state of New York. The company provides services concerning the development in all aspects of progress in the world through products such as appliances, aviation, electrical distribution, consumer electronics, finances, health care, media and entertainment, oil and gas, rail, security, water and lighting. The company hails its beginnings to Thomas Edison, founder of Edison General Electric. His works embodies the tradition that GE stands for. The invention of the phonograph, electric light bulb, and dynamo was a breakthrough of human ingenuity.
