Carol A. Clayton
Carol Clayton currently serves WilmerHale as an Assistant Managing Partner. She is also a part of the firm’s Management Committee. Her legal expertise revolves around environmental law, litigations and legal counseling. She co-authored the Environmental Auditing Handbook and the TSCA chapter in the Environmental Law Institute’s Law of Environmental Protection.
Mike D. Flanagan
Mike Flanagan works as a Partner in the Litigation/Controversy Department. He is also member of various departments within the firm. His legal specialties include Intellectual Property litigation, criminal defense and international arbitration. Mike Flanagan also served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Central District of California.
Craig Goldblatt
Craig Goldblatt works in the firm’s Litigation/Controversy Department as a Partner and also serves as a key member in other departments. He represents all clients that are called in for bankruptcy proceedings. Craig Goldblatt is also a Law professor teaching at the Georgetown University Law Center.
William F. Lee
William Lee is a member of the firm’s Executive and Management Committees. He was the former chair of the Litigation Department, a position he held for four years. His expertise is centered on intellectual property and commercial litigation. He is also a seasoned trial attorney.
William R. McLucas
William McLucas is WilmerHale’s Chair of the Securities Department. He is also a part of the Securities Litigation and Enforcement Practice Group. Prior to joining WilmerHale, William McLucas was Director of Enforcement for the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement for eight years.
Susan W. Murley
Susan Murley is the current chair of the Corporate and Transactional Department, and a partner in the Corporate Practice Group. Her legal expertise and background focus on corporate and securities law matters for technology and life science clients. Susan Murley’s clients include Akamai Technologies, Inc., Aspect Medical Systems, Inc., and BioSphere Medical, Inc to mention a few.
Robert T. Novick
Robert Novick chairs two of the firm’s internal organizations – Regulatory and Government Affairs Department and the International Trade, Investment and Market Access Practice Group. His practice involves helping companies and associations map out strategies to acquire market access and government relations, as well as litigations and other proceedings.
William J. Perlstein
William Perlstein is one of WilmerHale’s co-managing partners. He is also a partner in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Practice Group. He played several major roles in creating drafts for bankruptcy and bank receivership legislation. William Perlstein is also recognized as one of the Legal Times’ “Greatest Washington Lawyers in the Past 30 Years.”
Joe C. Pillman
Joe Pillman heads the firm’s UK Corporate Practice Group and is also in charge of WilmerHale’s London-Alder Castle office. His legal expertise is in the field of securities law, including public and private securities offerings, and mergers and acquisitions. Joe Pillman’s excellence in his field earned him a recommendation in the 2008 edition of Legal 500 UK.
Charles C. Platt
Charles Platt is WilmerHale’s co-chair of the Complex Commercial Litigation Practice Group. His practice focuses on financial services and insurance companies’ defense in complicated litigation proceedings. His excellence in commercial law prompted Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business to include Charles Platt in their 2006, 2007 and 2008 editions.
