Paul Hazen is the Chairman of KKR’s Board of Directors. He is also the current Chairman of the Board of KFN. He retired in 2001 when he was chairman of Wells Fargo. Paul Hazen remained inactive until he was tapped by KKR to serve as the company’s board chairman.
R. Glenn Hubbard
R. Glenn Hubbard has been a professor in the Department of Economics and Graduate School of Business of Columbia University since 1994. In 2004, he was elected Dean of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business. Currently, R. Glenn Hubbard is a researcher associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
Ross J. Kari
Ross Kari joined the KKR Board of Directors in August 2004. Prior to his current stint with KKR, he was Executive Vice President and COO of the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco and the CFO of MyCFO, a wealth management company. Ross Kari is now the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Safeco Corporation.
William Aldinger
Aside from his designation at KKR, William Aldinger is also the President and CEO of Capmark’s Financial Group Inc. and the Chairman and CEO of HSBC North America Holdings. He joined KKR’s board in 2005.
Scott C. Nuttall
Scott Nuttall has been with KKR for 10 years and was named member to the firm’s board of directors in 2004. He has been a pivotal figure in KKR’s engagements with Alea Group Holdings, Amphenol Corporation, and Bristol West Holdings, among others. Before KKR, Scott Nutall worked with the Blackstone Group where he played significant roles in several of the firms’ acquisitions and mergers.
Ely L. Licht
At present, Ely Licht is the executive vice president and chairman of credit policy for Capmark Financial Group. Before joining Capmark, he was in retirement after working with Wells Fargo for 18 years. Ely Licht joined KKR’s board in 2005.
Deborah H. McAneny
Deborah McAneny worked at John Hancock for 20 years and was given executive positions during her stint there. She currently serves Benchmark Assisted Living as Chief Operating Officer. Deborah McAneny has been a member of KKR’s board since April 2005.
Vincent Paul Finigan
Vincent Paul Finigan started his stint with KKR’s Board of Directors in February 2006. Currently, he works with Snyder Miller & Orton LLP. His former employers include Morgan, Lewis & Bockius and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison.
Tracy Collins
Tracy Collins’ career in the finance industry includes stints with Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. and Credit Suisse Group. She held top executive positions in both companies during her stay with them. Tracy Collins was elected to KKR’s Board of Directors in August 2006.
Willy Strothotte
Willy Strothotte is the current Chairman of Glencore International AG and has a vast experience in trading metals and minerals. He is also a director of Century Aluminum Corporation and Minara Resources Limited. Willy Strothotte joined KKR’s board in January 2007.
Scott Ryles
Prior to joining KKR’s Board of Directors, Scott Ryles held various executive positions in several companies including Procinea Management LLC and Merrill Lynch. He also created and was CEO of Epoch Partners. Scott Ryles is also a Director of ArcSight, Inc. and Fortify Software, Inc.
William C. Sonneborn
William Sonneborn has been on KKR’s board since December 2008. Prior to that, he worked with The TCW Group for 10 years and was named President and Chief Operating Officer and CEO of The TCW Funds, Inc.
