Donald J. Carty
Donald Carty is responsible for the company’s financial engagements such as audits and taxations. Prior to joining Dell in 2007, Donald Carty served as the CEO of AMR Corporation and American Airlines from 1998 to 2003.
He graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and went on to graduate from the Harvard School of Business Administration.
Michael Dell
Founded Dell, Inc. in 1984, Michael Dell went on to be included as the youngest CEO in the prestigious Forbes 500.
Aside from business, Michael Dell and his wife Susan created Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, to manage the investments and non-profitable endeavors of the Dell family.
He also authored the book Direct From Dell: Strategies That Revolutionized an Industry.
William H. Gray, III
William Gray is a member three committees in the board – Auditing, Governance, and Nominating. Before signing up with Dell, he was Chief Executive Officer and President of The College Fund/UNCF (educational assistance) from 1991 until his retirement in June 2004. William Gray is currently the Chairman of the Amani Group, a consultancy firm.
He is also a former politician who, from 1979 to 1991, served as a member of the House of Representatives.
Sallie Krawcheck
Sallie Krawcheck is the current Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Citi Global Wealth Management. She also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sanford C. Bernstein & Company.
Sallie Krawcheck is a member of Dell’s Finance Committee.
Allan (A.G.) Lafley
Allan Lafley is the present Chairman of the Board and CEO of The Procter & Gamble Company, which he joined in 1977. Apart from Dell, Allan Lafley also sits as a board member for General Electric Company and Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation.
He is a member of Dell’s Leadership Development and Compensation, Finance committees.
Judy C. Lewent
Judy Lewent chairs Dell’s Finance Committee and also serves on the Leadership Development and Compensation. She was the Chief Financial Officer of Merck & Co., Inc. She now sits as a board member for Motorola, Inc.
Thomas Luce III
Thomas Luce is the present President, CEO and Director of the National Math and Science Initiative Inc., a non-profit organization with focus on developing improved math and science programs. He also served as the United States Assistant Secretary of Education for Planning, Evaluation and Policy Development during the Bush Administration.
He is the current chair of Dell’s Auditing Committee.
Klaus S. Luft
Klaus Luft is the owner and president of Munich-based MATCH – Market Access Services GmbH & Co. KG. Currently, he is also the vice chairman and international advisor to Goldman Sachs Europe Limited.
He serves in Dell’s Leadership Development and Compensation Committees.
Alex J. Mandl
Alex Mandl is the Executive Chairman of Gemalto, the product of the Axalto Holding N.V.-Gemplus International S.A. merger. He also held top positions for various companies, including AT&T, Gemplus, and Teligent, Inc.
He serves as a member of Dell’s Auditing Committee.
Michael A. Miles
The former Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Philip Morris Companies Inc., Michael Miles is now the chairperson of Dell’s Leadership Development and Compensation.
Samuel A. Nunn
Samuel Nunn is co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nuclear Threat Initiative. He is also the chairperson of Dell’s Governance and Nominating Committees.
